Evatronix Joins Altera Consultants Alliance Program (ACAP®)

BIELSKO-BIALA, POLAND - Evatronix S.A., Evatronix, the IP cores provider and a pioneer in HDL-based electronic design market in Eastern-Europe, announced today that it has signed a partnership agreement with Altera Corporation (Nasdaq: ALTR), the leading programmable logic device (PLD) supplier, and since then has become a member of the Altera Consulting Alliance Program (ACAP®).

Evatronix began using the Altera PLDs in the late 90s. with Flex® family, having started from relatively simple designs of approximately 20 000 gates. At present Evatronix is working with Apex® & Acex® families PLDs in the range of hundreds of thousands gates. It enables the firm to provide the customers with solutions in time which is vital to keep pace with today's market dynamics. The first contact Evatronix had with Altera concerned Altera Megafunction Partner Program (AMPP®) which the company joined through its American distributor, CAST, Inc. (www.cast-inc.com).

Being the ACAP® partner Evatronix wishes to enable its customers and Altera users to shorten time-to-market with innovative electronic products by offering them virtual electronic components (IP cores) and by supporting them with related design services. Moreover, Evatronix offers its expertise to those who want to take advantage of higher density Altera PLDs designed with standard HDLs and synthesis.
