Evix Board 5 - Tiny

The EB5-Tiny Evaluation Board is a low cost environment for testing, evaluation purposes and software development for 8-, 16- and 32-bit microcontroller (i.e. R8051XC2, C68000) as well as 16- and 32-bit DSP IP cores (i.e. C32025, C32025TX) . All of these may be further combined with a number of advanced peripheral IP cores (USB, Ethernet).
The main advantage of the EB5-Tiny is the possibility to add proprietary daughter boards with other FPGA chips or additional peripherals. Their main connectors are compatible with the Con-Ext connector of the EB5-Tiny, which results in a high level of the board’s flexibility.
A choice of on-board FPGA chips (see table below) allows prototyping of complex systems without additional adapters. However, availability of extension headers along with on-board 32-bit address & data buses enables use of adapters containing other, bigger FPGAs if necessary.
